how we found our way to the rolling hills of tennessee
What started as our family’s place gradually became a place where other people could make memories too.
THE BEGINNING OF STONEWALL MEADOWS
We came looking for room to breathe and space to raise our family. We originally imagined 10 or 20 acres. Instead, we found 100 acres of rolling hills, two ponds, old barns and a quiet kind of beauty that immediately felt like home.
Standing on the porch and looking across the property, we began to imagine that this land might eventually hold something bigger than our own family. Over time, that idea grew into Stonewall Meadows: a place to gather, celebrate, stay and make room for others.
A HOME IN THE HILLS
Every space on this property was built with heart, and each one has its own story behind it. Our home and property has so much to offer in the rolling hills of Tennessee.
BUILT AROUND FAMILY
Our reason for all of this is simple. We want our children, and everyone who visits, to feel loved, valued, and right at home. We wanted to raise our kids somewhere we could be proud of, but knew we couldn’t keep this property just to ourselves.
A PLACE TO GATHER
Somewhere along the way it became clear, a beautiful place is meant to be shared. Whether that's a wedding, an event, a celebration, or just our own family gathered together.
Our son, Hudson, was born with complex disabilities. Loving and raising him has shaped the way our family sees people, community and what it means to make room for one another.
WHY BELONGING BECAME PERSONAL
WHAT MATTERS most TO US
ADVOCACY
We're proud to support Hudson & Friends, a Tennessee nonprofit serving individuals with disabilities through respite care, farm based job training, and an upcoming equine therapy program. A portion of what happens here helps keep that work going. This land was always meant to hold more than one kind of love.
faith
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
— 1 Peter 4:10 —
giving
Stonewall Meadows gives back to a handful of charities close to our hearts, including the Koolen-de Vries Syndrome Foundation and Empower Me Day Camp. We invite you to learn more about the charities we partner with and give if you feel led to.
STAY | GATHER | BELONG
Somewhere along the way, we realized the best thing about having a beautiful place wasn’t keeping it to ourselves.
